Now we’re in the thick of it.
Jose Mourinho has used Manchester United’s match-day programme notes to issue a rallying cry to supporters.
United bounced back from three defeats on the spin to defeat Northampton Town 3-1 in the EFL Cup. Mourinho has called on United fans to get behind the faltering team as they seek the win that will get them right back among the league leaders.
Ahead of the 12:30 kick-off against the Premier League champions Leicester City, Mourinho has made some big selection calls.
