“I’m ready to go.”

Jose Mourinho has hinted at a return to English football following Fenerbahce’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United.

In a game packed with drama, Mourinho stole headlines as he was given his marching orders in the second half.

As a penalty decision was not given, the home dugout reacted in a furious manner, prompting his red card.

But after the game, Mourinho got straight to the point and expressed his desire to return to the English game in the future.

Speaking on the stresses of European football, he stated: “The best thing I have to do when I leave Fenerbahce, I go to a club that doesn’t play UEFA competitions.

“So if any club in England from the bottom of the table needs a coach in two years, I’m ready to go.”

“The Special One” continued in his hilarious manner when asked on the referee’s decision to send him off, prompting his post-match interview to go viral:

“He told me something incredible. He told me at the same time he could see the action in the box and my behaviour on the touchline.

“I congratulate him because he is absolutely incredible, his peripheral vision.

“During the game, 100mph, he had one eye on the penalty situation and he had one eye on the bench and my behaviour. That’s the explanation he gave me. That’s why he’s one of the best referees in the world.”
