Not a Stag Do but the event that, more often than not, follows soon after.
The folks planning that Jamie Vardy movie must have thought Leicester’s league win would make a finalé. However, the best was yet to come.
Vardy scored in England’s 2-1 win over Turkey, set up Harry Kane for his goal, is getting married on Wednesday and enjoyed a delicious ‘energy’ drink on Leicester’s celebratory, open-top bus tour.

Somewhere in there we mentioned Vardy’s impending nuptials. The 29-year-old is exchanging vows with Rebekah Nicholson in a couple of days and has been excused from international duty.
Vardy was due to get married next month but moved it, last year, when his league form led to an England call-up. Turns out it was the right call.
England play Australia on Friday and Vardy insists he will be back in training on Thursday but Roy Hodgson is mindful of stacking too much on his plate. The England boss commented:
“I don’t think his place in the team or the squad at the moment is under enormous threat and we do have other players that we need to look at.”
One of those players could be Wayne Rooney or Daniel Sturridge. The pair join up with the England squad today after recent cup final exertions for Manchester United and Liverpool.
Marcus Rashford is also expected to train with the squad this week, despite limping out of United’s 2-1 F.A Cup final win over Crystal Palace.
