James McClean came in for truckloads of abuse from the terraces at The Den last night.
The Wigan wide man has had to put up with stick from the crowd on a number of occasions since he explained his reasons for not wearing a poppy on his shirt.
And last night’s trip to Millwall was no exception as the home fans let them know what they thought of him.
James McClean very lively in opening 15 minutes or so. Being booed with every touch. #Millwall #WAFC

The Republic of Ireland international was involved in a number of high-profile incidents that didn’t endear himself to the spectators, including a penalty shout and a first half shemozzle.
Unsurprisingly, a section of Millwall fans don’t seem to like James McClean very much. Steady abuse levels increased by his role in a scrap. — Daniel McDonnell (@McDonnellDan) April 14, 2015
#wafc had just about managed to silence the home crowd, James McClean gets involved in a bit of handbags and it’s hostile again. #wafc

But McClean played down the grief he received after the game with this Instagram caption that got a fair few chuckles around the office.
