It didn’t take long for Mathieu Flamini’s Wikipedia page to get cruelly edited after Arsenal defeat

Cruel. But funny.

If you didn’t hear, Arsenal lost 2-0 in the Champions League second round to Barcelona. They were at home. So that means Barcelona have two away goals as well…

Arsenal were actually alright but Lionel Messi scored twice and Olivier Giroud and Mathieu Flamini ballsed up for the hosts to put the tie more or less beyond them.

But it was the midfielder’s cameo that most frustrated the Arsenal fans when his quickfire intervention quickly dumped all of Arsenal’s hopes in the trash.

And, whilst the Arsenal account’s official updates could hilariously tell you his story in two depressing tweets, the French man’s Wikipedia would tell you the story just as swiftly.
