Kurtis Byrne, take two bows.
You deserve one just for getting this volley on target and you should take the second for managing to beat the ‘keeper.
While this wonderstrike meant nothing in terms of the result of Friday’s night’s SSE Airtricity League Premier Division clash with Byrne’s former club Dundalk, it will live long in the memory of the Dalymount Park faithful.

Bohs were trailing 2-0 to the reigning champions going into the final 25 minutes when a corner was only half cleared in the Lilywhites’ area.
Rather than take the ball down and look to send it back into the mixer, Byrne opted to take a first-time shot.
And what a shot it was!
Byrne’s volley had more than a hint of the Marco van Bastens about it but it wasn’t enough to wrest the result from the clutches of Dundalk, who took a 2-1 victory away from Dalymount.
