Southampton U21s came away with a 1-1 draw against Real Madrid Castilla in their Premier League International Cup clash last night.
Gavin Bazunu was in goal for the Saints and made a series of crucial saves before Thiago gave the lead to the Spanish visitors in the 75th minute.
However, in the fourth minute of stoppage time, the Ireland stopper stepped up for a corner and rocketed a brilliant header off the crossbar, with the deflection landing at the feet of Abdul Okunola, who guided the ball home from a yard out.
Bazunu has been out of favour with his side, starting the first six games of the Championship season before being dropped for the last six, with the Saints currently sitting 20th in the league.
