Gary Neville looks to be planning to stay in Spain past this summer

Nev's in for the long haul

This could disappoint a few people.

Gary Neville appears to be planning to stay in Valencia beyond this season.

The former Manchester United defender took charge of the La Liga club last month, signing a six month deal until the end of this season.

Neville has been linked with succeeding Roy Hodgson as England manager after Euro 2016, potentially replacing Louis van Gaal at Manchester United, and will undoubtedly be on the radar of Premier League clubs.

And while most football fans wish Neville well in his new career, let’s be honest, we’d all love to see him back on Sky Sports.

However, it seems as though he plans to stick around for a while yet in Spain.

In an interview with Spanish media outlet Marca, Neville said that he has rented his house in the Spanish city for two years, suggesting his tenure will last beyond this summer at least.
