Up until the start of 2017, Dean Ebbe was still playing in the Leinster Senior League, now he’s edging closer to his Scottish Premiership debut.
The Irish striker played a starring role in Inverness Caledonian Thistle u20s’ win over Rangers u20s in his first appearance for the club since signing from Bluebell United in early January.
Ebbe was involved in both his side’s goals. He scored the game’s opener mid-way through the first half by making the most of a defensive error and coolly slotting it into the back of the net.
Judging by the club’s official Twitter account’s live commentary of the game, they were only thrilled to see their new man get off to a flier.

Rangers pulled one back in the second half through Aidan Wilson, who found the net after Inverness were unable to clear their lines from a corner.
However, it was Ebbe again who was involved in the game’s decisive goal. Another defensive error allowed Ebbe to break free and crack the woodwork with a driven effort. Fortunately, Jamie Wilson was ready and waiting to grab the winner off the rebound.

Not a bad way to start things off, not bad at all.
