In the pantheon of great Fergie signings, you have so many great names. Eric Cantona. Roy Keane. Eric Djemba-Djemba.
Although he failed to impress during his time at Old Trafford, the Cameroonian has developed something of a cult following among the Manchester United faithful.
So naturally when we’re asked to remember on the 5th of November, one incident pops immediately to mind – Djemba-Djemba’s League Cup winner against Leeds in 2003.
Even though the goal was scored on October 28, Man United decided it was the perfect way to celebrate Bonfire Night, sharing a clip of the goal on their Twitter page.
