Dejan Lovren’s bad weekend continues.
Lovren was badly at fault for the Hammers’ second goal, failing to clear, or control, the ball 20 yards from goal, the Croatian was embarrassingly dispossessed before Mark Noble slotted home.
The 26-year-old, who had been impressive in Liverpool’s opening three games of the season, as part of a defence that didn’t concede a goal, would most likely have wanted to go home and quickly forget his terrible day at work.
However, Lovren’s Instagram account came under siege from disgruntled fans, and the abuse was seemingly so bad, the defender deactivated the account.

While a lot of people on Twitter had a level of sympathy for Lovren, some made the same joke.

Lovren is a absolute disaster agreed, but for him to deactivate his instagram there must have been some over the top abuse.

So Lovren deleted his Instagram acc after receiving abuse. Fans, be critical all you want but the moment you make it personal, you’re a knob
