On Wednesday, David Luiz hopped on a Eurotunnel train from Paris, rocked up to West London and signed a £34m deal to return to Chelsea.
That actually happened.
The entertaining defender signed for Antonio Conte’s side from PSG in one of the biggest shock signings since Newstalk swooped for Pat Kenny.

Fortunately, Luiz took to Instagram to let us all know why he went with the unusual head-gear:
‘I’m back Geezers! I dedicate my presentation and the first picture with Chelsea shirt again with cap for my Dad!’
Must say, Luiz’ father looks remarkably sprightly.

Meanwhile, Luiz is Jamie Carragher’s ‘Man of the Week’.
The former Liverpool defender, writing in his Daily Mail column, believes the Brazilian’s return could do wonders for Chelsea. He states:
‘There is something about Luiz’s character that I like. I wouldn’t call him a leader as such but he is the kind of player who will make something happen or contribute a big moment. He is erratic but he has quality.’
One thing is for sure, Luiz will do something to get us all talking.
