Barcelona and Real Madrid do not like each other.
Dani Alves does not like Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Brazilian and Portuguese counterparts got into a bit of a war of words last month when Alves stated that he was surprised Neymar didn’t place higher than Ronaldo in the Ballon d’Or votes.
He also said that Messi is “much better” than the Real Madrid star who acknowledged the comments passive aggressively on ESPN.
However, in an interview with Spanish outlet Odancero, Dani Alves revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo refused to greet him when the Barca full back approached him at the Ballon d’Or gala.
He then went on to dismiss the new era for the Madridistas and he did so with a crazily loose tongue.
Asked about the prospect of Zinedine Zidane’s regime, Alves didn’t seem to bother too much. He expects the same from every Real Madrid outfit. And what he expects is for them to bend over.
“Zidane’s Madrid will be tougher?” he pondered. “The Madrid of Zidane, that of Mourinho, Ancelotti, the Benitez one… they will always be there, giving up their ass.”
Tell us what you really think, Dani.
