This evening brings horrible news from Merseyside as reports have emerged of an Everton supporter passing away following a suspected heart attack at Goodison Park.
A 51-year-old man sat in the Park End Stand underwent treatment during the second half of Everton’s 1-0 victory over Stoke on Saturday afternoon.
He was transported to Aintree University Hospital where, according to the Liverpool Echo, he tragically passed away.
The man’s fellow supporters were quick to offer up their thoughts and messages for a fan that was taken too soon.
