WATCH: Ciaran Clark’s first Newcastle goal eclipsed by Jonjo Shelvey strike of scandalous beauty

Pick, That. Out.

Rafa Benitez insisted Newcastle United can get better after witnessing his side thrash QPR 6-0 at Loftus Road.

United started the season with a loss against Fulham and had only three points after three games but are hitting their straps.

Rangers were put to the sword in front of their own fans as Newcastle’s multi-millionaires ran amok.

Irish defender Ciaran Clark, signed from Aston Villa over the summer, got up for a second half corner and headed home a first goal for his new club.

Goal of the night definitely went to Jonjo Shelvey, who curled in this outrageous effort from 25 yards out.

Shelvey scored a brace to make it three goals in five Championship starts. Both he and the Toon are starting to motor.
