Just a medical to pass and he will be a Red.
Christian Benteke will undergo his medical with Liverpool today and, all things going well, sign a four-year contract with Liverpool.
The Belgian striker will line out for Brendan Rodgers’ side next season after they triggered the £32.5m release clause on his contract.
Sky Sports report that Aston Villa and Liverpool reached an agreement over the Benteke deal on Saturday.

Interestingly, The Telegraph state that Liverpool will only pay £16m up front, with the other £16.5m to be paid through instalments and bonuses.
Benteke has caused Liverpool untold trouble in the past, scoring five times in six games against the Reds.
Villa are resigned to losing the 24-year-old but should be able to use a sizeable chunk of the transfer fee to bring in new players.
The club have been linked, this morning, with Bournemouth forward Callum Wilson.
