The pressure on Cesc Fabregas is starting to show.
The Spaniard was loudly booed by Chelsea fans during their team’s win over Sunderland at the weekend because of his alleged role in Jose Mourinho’s second departure from Stamford Bridge.
Fabregas has been struggling for form this year, and it appears he hit a new low during training as, according to The Daily Mail, the former Arsenal captain reacted angrily to being nutmegged by Belgian youngster Charly Musonda.
The 19-year-old apparently flicked the ball over the head of Fabregas before slipping it through the former Barcelona man’s legs. The World Cup winner supposedly responded by putting in a particularly harsh tackle on the youngster, which sparked a ‘melee’ between Chelsea’s players.
Fabregas has taken much of the heat for Jose Mourinho’s dismissal as Chelsea coach, with many fans believing him to be one of the leaders among the players who wanted to see the Portuguese leave.
