Rumours spread on Twitter earlier today that the Scottish champions were in talks with the Manchester United striker.
One would imagine Hernandez, who spent last season on loan at Real Madrid, would be outside Celtic’s wage bracket, and the club’s fans weren’t buying the rumours.
Before you could say ‘Chicharito to Parkhead’, Celtic fans had laughed off any chance of the deal to fruition.
More chance of Efe Ambrose actually winning the Ballon d'Or than Javier Hernandez signing for Celtic.
