Celtic have endeared themselves to many with the admirable gesture of giving out-of-work supporters the chance to see their team play for free over the festive period.
The Scottish Premiership champions released a statement yesterday revealing the news that free tickets were available to unemployed fans for Celtic’s next home match against Ross County on 27 December.
The statement reads: “We hope that by giving unemployed supporters the chance to attend Celtic Park for the match against Ross County will bring some Christmas cheer to fans who may not otherwise have been able to do so.”
“The offer is open to any fan who is currently not working. Fans wishing to claim their free ticket should visit the Ticket Office at Celtic Park with the relevant documentation, for example a JSA, ESA letter, for verification.
“Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.”
