Brazil legend Kaka names his dream team and there’s a certain Lionel Messi who fails to get the nod

He finds room for two Ronaldos though

Before Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo started exchanging Ballon d’Ors over the last eight years, Kaka was recognised as the best player in world football.

The Brazilian legend has won pretty much everything that could be won in a glittering career spanning almost fifteen years at the highest level.

So we kind of trust his judgement when it comes to player talent.

The former Milan and Real Madrid player has named his ultimate XI for the Daily Mail and there’s one surprising omission up front.

To be fair to the 32-year-old (he’s only 32?) he hasn’t selected himself to play which is the kind of humility that always gets the thumbs-up treatment from us at SportsJOE.
