It appears Richard Keys isn’t the only football media personality who believes in conspiracy theories.
BBC commentator John Motson has said that there is a media conspiracy against Brendan Rodgers.
Speaking on BBC Five Live this evening, Motson said that this campaign is perhaps the work of former Liverpool players working in the media.
“Every time I read an article about Liverpool, there’s somebody digging away at him,” Motson said.
“If we can put things in perspective, two years ago he nearly won the league.”
“What do Liverpool seriously expect? They haven’t won the league for over 20 years. I think there’s an agenda there, and I think there’s certain people driving it”.
We not so sure, John.
Perhaps the criticism stems from the fact that Liverpool have won just two of their opening six games of the season?
