It was business as usual at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
Arsenal continued their ongoing collapse as they fell to a 2-1 defeat by Watford, putting an end to their quest to become the first team to win three consecutive FA Cups since the 1880s.
The Gunners now trail Leicester by eight points in the league and face a daunting trip to Camp Nou on Wednesday night as they attempt to recover from a 2-0 defeat in the first leg against Barcelona.
In short, it looks like Arsene Wenger’s men are fighting just to stay in the top four once more.
Sunday’s poor performance wasn’t exactly unexpected for Arsenal fans, as the Gunners came into the game on the back of consecutive home defeats….
3 – Arsenal haven’t lost three home games in a row in all competitions since November 2002. Wary.

After just minutes, Olivier Giroud had the ball in the back of the net, but it was ruled out for offside – though not everyone agreed with the call…

By this stage, the Emirates faithful are well used to a below-par first-half display…
Arsenal have led at half time in none of their last 10 matches in all competitions at Emirates Stadium

The second half felt like it had hardly begun when Odion Ighalo gave Watford the lead. Just a few minutes later, the Hornets’ lead was doubled when Adlen Guedioura scored an absolute screamer…

That strike from Guedioura actually didn't go any slower in slow motion. Magnificent.

But then Danny Welbeck came on to give Gooners hope with a goal, only to take it all away again by squandering a perfect chance to equalise…
But Arsenal fans knew just who to blame…
Absolute crap. This will end our season. Let the rebuilding begin… again #AFCvWFC #WengerOut
