Alex Teixeira seems pretty keen on joining Liverpool, who had a €32million bid for the player rejected earlier this week.
However, the 26 year old Shakhtar Donetsk forward has said he wishes to leave the Ukrainian in the current window, with the Premier League his preferred destination.
“I am aware that two big clubs such as Liverpool and Chelsea are interested but I haven’t given my word to either of them.
“I am not ruling out other leagues but I do want to play in the Premier League. In my mind, it is the strongest in the world. I want a challenge and to further my career there.”
Teixeira’s heart seems set on a move to Liverpool, rather than Chelsea, judging by his Instagram account.
