Many were left baffled by Aguero’s comments.
Sergio Aguero’s livestream left many people confused after he publicly called out young French midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
Aguero was a part of Argentina’s celebrations in Doha as they won their first World Cup since 1986 in a thrilling penalty shootout win.
A Lionel Messi-inspired performance on the biggest of stages saw Argentina take a two-goal lead before Kylian Mbappé’s quick-fire brace with 10 minutes to go levelled the tie.
Messi then struck home from close range in extra time before Mbappé converted a late penalty to take the tie to an all or nothing penalty shootout.
Emiliano Martinez delivered the goods for Argentina as he saved Kinglsey Coman’s effort and made himself imposing enough to put off Aurélien Tchouaméni, who dragged his spot-kick wide.
After the intense battle on the pitch, the South American’s celebrated wildly in their dressing room, with Aguero live streaming the celebrations.
However many were left disappointed after the former Manchester City striker was heard calling out Real Madrid midfielder Camavinga.
“For Camavinga, that d***face,” the 34-year-old said while drinking from a bottle of champagne.

Aguero is the only Argentine who has been accused of going over-the-top in their celebrations, with Emi Martinez appearing to taunt Kylian Mbappe in the Argentine dressing room. There were also scenes of high-tension in the aftermath of their quarter final defeat of the Netherlands, with Nicolas Otamendi celebrating their shoot-out win in front of the Holland players.
