Harry Kane has been in the form of his life of late, scoring eight goals in his last four games and setting up Tottenham for another top four finish.
The BBC were singing his praises ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final meeting with Millwall, where former Spurs and Lions frontman Teddy Sheringham was in the studio.
So there was something inevitable about what happened less than 10 minutes into the game, when the England striker went down with a nasty-looking ankle injury and was replaced by Christian Eriksen.

It could be a huge loss for Spurs, whose alternative options Son Heung-Min and Vincent Janssen have not been nearly as prolific as Kane.
It also represents bad news for England, who could well be without the player for the upcoming games against Germany and Lithuania.
But there wasn’t too much sympathy from Arsenal fans who – rather than attempting to feel sorry for a player struck down at an inopportune moment – knew exactly where their attentions should turn. And it wasn’t just Arsenal fans.

Tottenham are currently six points clear of Arsenal in the race for a Champions League spot, though their North London rivals have a game in hand.
The teams will meet in the Premier League on April 30, while they could yet face off in the semi-finals or final of the FA Cup after Arsenal beat Lincoln City in the last eight.
