A changing room storm-out and €500 taxi home could cost Stephane Sessegnon his job

Never a good idea

Tony Pulis doesn’t strike us as a fellow who takes a lot of nonsense.

So we don’t reckon he would have been too pleased to see Stephane Sessegnon’s reaction to being left out of the match day squad for the Baggies trip to St James Park.

Rather than take it on the chin and just sit in the stands like a team player, the former Sunderland man stormed out of the West Brom changing room, hailed a taxi and presumably sulked throughout the four-hour journey down to the west Midlands.

The trip reportedly cost him £380 (€525) but the whole ordeal could end up costing him his job at The Hawthorns as Pulis was already considering cutting his losses with the Beninese forward and this would have done nothing to change the Welshman’s mind.
