It’s hard to feel too bad for Roy Jones Jr.
Granted, we sympathise with the face that he’s fighting in much smaller venues against relative unknowns but we can’t, in good faith, feel sorry for a man who’s knocking lads out for fun.
Roy Jones Jr. is clearly missing some of the pep and spring that he had in the 1990s but he’s still an absurdly dangerous fighter.
He proved that by knocking out Willie Williams three weeks ago in North Carolina with a series of vicious left hooks.

And it didn’t take him too long to return to his fight-finishing, jaw-finding habit when he met Paul Vasquez on Saturday night in Florida.
This time the former multi-weight world champion cornered his opponent with body shots before a snaking right hand put him down to give Captain Hook his seventh straight victory.
