Karina Kopinska never stood a chance.
Katie Taylor is 1-0 in her professional boxing career – after stopping Kopinska in three on Saturday night – and looking to double up, in Manchester, on December 10.
It was, last night, confirmed that Taylor would take on Switzerland’s Viviane Obenauf [9-1] on the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s IBF heavyweight title defence against Eric Molina.
There is very little time for Taylor to rest on her laurels nor bask in her dominant debut. However, before we focus on the Bray boxer’s next bout, it is definitely worth taking a look at the sheer grind she put in for her debut win.
Taylor’s promoters shared a great video of her intense training in the lead-up to her fight with Kopinska. It is so well put together that it rivals ‘Creed’ for its inspirational montage.
That tyre sure took a battering.

Obenauf is in for one hell of a fight.
