Hope he doesn’t drop it like it’s hot.

American rapper Snoop Dogg will be one of the final Olympic flame torchbearers before the opening ceremony in Paris on Friday.

The 52-year-old will carry the torch through the streets of Saint-Denis, where the Stade de France is located.

This is the penultimate leg of the flame’s long journey through France, with the relay then ending at the Eiffel Tower for the opening ceremony.

Since the Olympic flame started its journey across France on May 8, a number of celebs have carried it. This includes the likes of former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, Formula One driver Charles Leclerc and actress Halle Berry.

The identity of the final torchbearer has been kept under wraps so far.

Carrying the flame isn’t the only involvement Snoop will have in the Olympics. He is in the French capital for the games as part of NBC’s Primetime in Paris show, Deadline reports.

The rapper will be attending events, visiting athletes and their families, and “exploring the unique sights and sounds that only Paris has to offer” as part of his coverage of the games, according to NBC.

Snoop was born in Los Angeles, which will be the host city for the 2028 Games.
