Ireland’s women’s team have qualified for the semi-finals of the Hockey World Cup in London. The Irish side advanced past India in the quarter-finals. The game finished scoreless after four-quarters and went to a shootout.

Ireland will play Spain on Saturday in the semi-final. Ireland were ranked 16th in the world before the tournament, but are now just two games from becoming world champions.
