We all love a rookie story.
Even more so when there’s a passionate mammy involved.
Denver Nuggets point guard, Gary Harris, was handed his NBA debut tonight and, good grief, he made it count.
The Nuggets beat the Indiana Pacers 108 – 87 and, having waited for game time since signing in the summer, Harris didn’t miss his chance to impress. Unfortunately, his mum did though.
She didn’t miss the whole thing but probably the best of it all when Harris took the ball from half court, burrowed his way through Pacers bodies and threw down this mammoth dunk to really announce his arrival on the big stage.
The score of the night was met with a few seconds of confusion afterwards as his poor mammy was trying to figure out from the stands what she had just missed. Bless.
