Imagine giving up a $37.5m contract?
No. Neither can I.
But that’s exactly what former St Louis Rams centre Jason Brown did, when he walked away from his NFL contract to become a farmer.
The seven-year veteran of the NFL bought himself a farm at home in North Caroline, and set to work learning the trade from YouTube.
And not only that, he’s giving back to those less fortunate also, donating the first batch of every season to local food kitchens, which recently was over 100,000lbs of sweet potatoes.
And you know what, he says he’s “never felt more successful”.
Maith an fear.
