A fight? In a hockey rink? Stop the presses!
There was a bit of a tussle on the ice between Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic and Columbus Blue Jackets defender Dalton Prout tonight. However, the fight ended before it ever really began.
Prout wound up and unloaded a devastating right-hook haymaker that landed on the button. Such was the strength of the Columbus player’s strike that it sent his opponent crashing down to the ice in a heap.
If he did this in an Octagon, he would have probably earned himself a Performance of the Night accolade along with the pretty decent chunk of change for a bonus. However, because it happened in a hockey rink, all this craic got him was a trip to the sin bin.
