One-handed catch-of-the-year candidate wins game for Chicago Bears

What a grab

Gareth Makim

Some way to win a game.

Tight end Zach Miller is the toast of Chicago this morning after this incredible catch provided the winning touchdown for the Bears against the San Diego Chargers last night.

Miller plucked a Jay Cutler fastball out of the air and fell into the end zone as the Bears fought back from 13-0 down to complete a 22-19 victory in southern California.

It was former Raiders man Miller’s first touchdown in four years, but despite the victory the 3-5 Bears remain rank outsiders for the play-offs, while the Chargers can start planning for next season at 2-7.
