The NFL is in full swing, and this weekends action got underway in fantastic fashion after the Cleveland Browns picked up their first win in nearly two years.
Lets look ahead to the rest of the games happening this weekend and see where they key battles will be won and lost.
New Orleans @ Atlanta Falcons
The Saints will be in high spirits after their win over Cleveland last weekend, they are underdogs going up against Matt Ryan and the Falcons, expect them to pick up another victory this week, only by a small margin.
Atlanta Falcons to win 21-18
San Francisco 49ers @ Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs have been the form team of the opening two weeks, but there is still a glaring weakness in their defence that is there for the taking. This will need to be resolved soon, but they should still get the job done at home. Patrick Mahomes is riding the crest of a wave at the minute and that should continue.
Kansas City Chiefs to win 34-17
Oakland Raiders @ Miami Dolphins
The Raiders are 0-2. The Dolphins are 2-0. Seems pretty straight forward doesn’t it? Oakland have been falling apart in the second half of games lately, expect Ryan Tannehill and co to get the job done with a bit to spare.
Miami Dolphins to win 28-10
Buffalo Bills @ Minnesota Vikings
Hard to see anything but a Vikings win in this contest. An impressive showing against Green Bay last week, unfortunately they came away with just a tie. They will be hell-bent on rectifying that this weekend.
Minnesota Vikings to win 34-14
Indianaplos Colts @ Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles are priced at -6.5 with most outlets and that would be the smart money. Carson Wentz returns for the Superbowl champs this weekend and the atmosphere should be crazy. Their defence has given up only eight points per game in it’s last six home games. Comfortable win for Philly.
Philadelphia Eagles to win 36-6
Green Bay Packers @ Washington Redskins
Lots of people are predicting that the Alex Smith can overturn the Packers at home this weekend. I wouldn’t be so sure though. The gunslinger, Aaron Rodgers has started the season brightly and expect him to drive Green Bay on to a road win.
Green Bay Packers to win 24-17
Cincinnati Bengals @ Carolina Panthers
After a great opening day win at home to the Cowboys, Carolina would have been disappointed to come away from Atlanta last week with a loss. Extremely tough to call this one. Game of the weekend
Cincinnati Bengals to win 31-28
Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville will be riding the crest of a wave after overturning New England last weekend, at home once again expect Blake Bortles to carry his early season form into this game. With Marcus Mariota still a doubt for this game, it isn’t looking good for Tennessee.
Jacksonville Jaguars to win 34-17
Denver Broncos @ Baltimore Ravens
This will be a close game, expect defence to come out on top a lot. The extra few days rest and home advantage might just swing it for the Ravens
Baltimore Ravens to win 14-10
New York Giants @ Houston Texans
The Giants have started the season poorly once again. J.J. Watt and co have started the season well. Can see nothing but a big home win here.
Houston Texans to win 24-7
Los Angeles Chargers @ Los Angeles Rams
A brand new LA rivalry to froth over. The Rams look like one of the most complete teams in the entire NFL. The Chargers, led by Philip Rivers are very talented though. This could be one of the best games this weekend.
Los Angeles Rams to win 21-20
Chicago Bears @ Arizona Cardinals
The Bears have a tough defence, however it is tough to see them turn over the Cardinals at home. Could go any way though. Having played on Monday may go against Chicago here.
Arizona Cardinals to win 17-10
Dallas Cowboys @ Seattle Seahawks
Seattle play at home for the first time this season. Dak and Zek will need to bring their A games in order to come away with a victory. Will be nothing to choose between these two sides.
Dallas Cowboys to win 21-17
New England Patriots @ Detroit Lions
The Patriots will be bulling after their defeat against the Jaguars last weekend. Expect them to roll into Detroit determined to execute some ghosts of previous weeks. Tom Brady should have his way with the Detroit defence en route to a comfortable victory.
New England Patriots to win 35-14
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Will be nothing again to choose against these two sides. Steelers have started extremely disappointingly. Tampa Bay on the other hand has done excellent without the services of Jameis Winston. Another tough call.
Tampa Bay Bucaneers to win 31-21
