With all the attention on Kobe Bryant surpassing Michael Jordan’s career scoring mark, it’s worth noting there are younger men also setting a torrid scoring pace.
One of those is Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant, the reigning league MVP who has become the second youngest player to reach the 15,000-point milestone, thanks to this early basket against the Sacramento Kings.
Still only 26, Durant is more than a year younger than Bryant was when he reached 15,000 with only LeBron James getting there faster.

The Kings weren’t ready to roll over for Durant and company, however, with Rudy Gay stepping up to deliver this huge two-handed dunk.
