Just the 6,000 points then?
6,587 to be exact.
That’s what DeMar DeRozan boasts after just five years with the Toronto Raptors. And his 10 points tonight, as the Canadian-based side lost out to the Bulls, moved him third in the team’s all-time leading points scorer list.
The deadly shooting guard overtook Andrea Bargnani and began to look up at legends Vince Carter and Chris Bosh who tallied over nine and ten thousand points respectively during their Raptors careers.
But, at the age of just 25, De Rozan could yet make a dent in those statistics. Granted of course he doesn’t blow it like Bargnani did and join the New York Knicks.
When DeMar does things like this, it’s easy to see why he is in such prestigious point-scoring compnay.
This, not so much.
