Manchester City are still buzzing after their Champions League quarter final win over PSG on Tuesday night. Manuel Pellegrini's side defeated the French side 1-0 on the night to go through to the competition's last four on aggregate. That victory triggered a clause in Raheem Sterling's contract and Liverpool are now richer to the tune of £300,000. City paid Liverpool £44 million up front for the winger with another £5m due to be paid if Sterling and his new club reach certain targets, and results. If City go on to win the Champions League, Liverpool would reportedly get a £200,000 top-up on that initial bonus. What of Sterling himself? The 21-year-old missed the quarter final ties with a groin injury but is hoping to be back for this weekend's Premier League action.
