Jurgen Klopp wants Liverpool to make the transfer Manchester United rejected

United baulked at the German's valuation but he now appears to be available for €10m cheaper.

Jurgen Klopp has only splashed out €5.3m of Liverpool's money so far but he is expected to further add to his squad in January. The Reds are struggling for goals, this season, so attacking midfielders, strikers, and men with reliable hamstrings are being sought. A central defender would not go astray either. Bild are reporting that Klopp has identified Bayern Munich's Mario Gotze as a transfer priority. The only stumbling block, according to the German newspaper, is that Liverpool would have to ferret out 10 million crisp €5 notes [or €50m] to secure Gotze's services.
