We didn’t know he had this in his locker.
One of the highlights of an incredible first half between Ireland and England was Keith Earls coming oh so close to scoring Ireland’s first try.
In the ninth minute of the game, Ireland sensing an opportunity, with a penalty advantage, spread the ball wide.
The ball was received by Best in midfield who was immediately under serious pressure from Elliot Daly and Jonathan Joseph.
Best, somehow sensing that he had Jared Payne outside him, released an audacious, almost no-look reverse pass to the New Zealand-born player.

Payne then did excellently to gain some serious yardage before offloading to Earls who unfortunately spilled the ball after being heavily tackled by Ben Youngs and Mike Brown.
Thankfully, the referee went back for the penalty and Jonathan Sexton secured Ireland’s first points of the game as he dissected the posts.
Best’s piece of magic didn’t go unnoticed by viewers…
