We’re not quite sure how thoroughly Keith Earls was checked for symptoms of concussion but he was certainly desperate for a painkiller.
The Ireland wing was flattened midway through the first half of Ireland’s Six Nations clash against Italy at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
At full pace, Earls’ progress was halted by the brick wall known as David Odiete and, by the looks of it, his face collided with the skull of the Italian full back.

And when the physio rushed to the pitch, Earls just wanted a couple of paracetamol and a drop of water to bring him round.
Earls handed a few Panadol and a gulp of water after that hard hit #begrand
