It wasn’t a good day for the Italian talisman.
Italy were on the end of a major drubbing today after suffering a 63-10 thrashing to Joe Schmidt’s Ireland side.
Ireland were incredible all over the pitch with an number of outstanding performances from the likes of CJ Stander, Keith Earls, Simon Zebo and of course, Paddy Jackson.

Jackson offered everything you would want from your out-half and then some.
He was 100% from the tee but he also acted as conductor to an incredible display from the Irish backs, creating three tries in total.
He was also put in a huge defensive shift in the match, completing a total of eight tackles.
It was one of these tackles which really stood out, mostly because it was on Italian behemoth and captain, Sergio Parisse.
In the 56th minute, Italy were already 25 points down but to be fair, they were still making attempts to get back into the game.
Parisse took on the ball in attempt to break through the Irish defence in order to restore some parity to the scoreline.
Unfortunately for Parisse, Jackson was having none of it, and he put in a great hit on the 33-year-old which ultimately led to the Ulsterman ripping the ball.
Check out this great bit of defensive work below.
