Matt Duffie may still be hurtling through space and time after this monstrous fend from the big Fijian.
Nemani Nadolo was one of our favourite players before last year’s World Cup. At that tournament, despite a pool stage exit, he was one of its brightest stars.
The Fijian winger is a regular, full-throttle performer for Crusaders and he was at it again in Round 2 of this season’s Super Rugby.
With Crusaders leading 16-6 against Auckland Blues, going into the final quarter, Nadolo went off on one.
Receiving the ball just inside his own half, Nadolo shrugged off his nearest foe before outpacing the entire Blues midfield. Approaching the Blues 22, Matt Duffie decided he would put an end to this.
Nadolo had other ideas and sent him skittling, no joke, about three metres into the night sky.

Here is the fend in all its slow-mo glory:
The Crusaders were well and truly on the front foot now. Play spread left and wide until a sublime offload set up Kieran Read to dive over and ensure victory for his team.
Both sides traded late penalties as the game finished Crusaders 28-13 Blues.
