Deysel can play in both the second-row and back-row, so his versatility will be a huge plus.
It also helps that the guy is an absolute monster.
Deysel is an extremely powerful ball carrier and if you do a quick search of his highlight reels on YouTube, you will notice that most of his best moments feature him running over unlucky defenders.
It was during one of these searches that we spotted Deysel representing the emerging Springboks in a match against the British and Irish Lions in 2009.
Deysel was playing at openside that day as he helped his side claim a 13-13 draw against Ian McGeechan's Lions.
Some of the former Munster players representing the Lions will undoubtedly remember the name Deysel when it was announced last week that he had signed on a short-term deal.
