The Munster Junior Bs would probably expect better than this.
The weather took its toll on several sporting events in the UK over the weekend, but surely none ended up being as much craic as this Welsh rugby match between Pontypridd and Merthyr.
The wet pitch rapidly turned into a complete mudbath yesterday, rendering the players on either team indistinguishable from the other, save for the rather conspicious substitutes.
We particularly like the manner in which players forlornly stop to wipe the mud from their eyes.
None of yer hyped-up Super 12 shite, now that’s a proper game of rugby…
Cracking game between @PontypriddRFC and @RFCMerthyr today. Highlights on Scrum V Sunday 7pm #SwalecCuphttps://t.co/K4HFwuTPXZ
