Jordi Murphy appeared to take Ireland’s 16-10 defeat to Wales very personally.

The Leinster back-row came out second best from his breakdown duel against the likes of Dan Lydiate and man-of-the-match Justin Tipuric.

Murphy is all but assured his place in Ireland’s 31-man squad but there was no telling him that.

Post-match, Murphy spoke about letting Paul O’Connell down on his final home game, Ireland getting out-foxed at the breakdown and

Murphy and the rest of the Ireland squad discover, on Sunday afternoon, if they will make Joe Schmidt’s squad.
