Jan Serfontein will be feeling this for some days to come.
Warrick Gelant is a young man with a bright future.
The Blue Bulls fullback has starred for the South African U20s and has been widely tipped to be a senior level star before too long.
Today, in Pretoria, Gelant showed that he is not quite the full package yet. We’re put it down to spatial awareness.
With his side leading the Melbourne Rebels 14-3 after 14 minutes, Gelant look to hoof a clearance back up the pitch. Serfontein crouched to clear the way for take-off but was left regretting his generous deed.
There were some extremely bright moments for Gelant, however, in a game the Bulls took by a scoreline of 45-25.
As the Rebels pushed for a consolation score, the South African U20 Player of 2015 said ‘no dice’ with a last-ditch, meaty tackle.

Remember the name, and steer clear if he is clearing the ball.
