It was competitive but Wales ultimately deserved the victory in Friday night's Six Nations clash with France.
Tries were at a premium for the duration of the 19-10 tie, with Wales' solitary try coming from a fortuitous bounce of the ball and the only French effort coming in the final minute.
And while every player gave it absolutely everything, it was match official Wayne Barnes who came in for the most criticism after the final whistle for constantly breaking up play, being far too finicky with the scrum but, all the while, failing to flash a yellow card in the direction of a Wales player despite a series of instances of foul play in their 22.
