VINE: Leicester’s Seremaia Bai sent off for using a head-butt to clear out a ruck

Clearly not using his head when using his head

Kevin McGillicuddy

He definitely had a headache after this this

Ruck time in rugby is no place for the softies in your team to go to ground.

Anyone who has ever played rugby at any level realise that what happends at the ruck is not something that would make most mothers proud as body parts are pulled, kicked and generally open to any sort of abuse that a player can muster or endure

That still is no excuse for this reckless use of the head by Leicester’s Seremaia Bai who butted the head of Wasps Nathan Hughes in today’s Premiership game at the Ricoh Arena

Initially referee Wayne Barnes was about to give a yellow card but after consulting with the TMO he handed out a red card.
Despite being down to 14 men Leicester went on to win 18-12.
