An incredible defensive effort by the Irish team saw them hold on to record a memorable victory over Australia in the Aviva yesterday. However, one fan was not so easily impressed by the side's lionhearted performance.

Rob Kearney almost pulled off a wonderful feat against the Aussies. 50-metres out, the full back decided to throw caution to the wind and try his luck at a drop goal.
The tension inside the stadium was almost palpable as Irish eyes watched Kearney narrowly miss out on handing his side an extra three points when his insane effort hit the upright. A communal groan from the rugby faithful echoed around the country as everyone soon realised they had almost witnessed a magical moment on the rugby pitch.
However, one fan just didn't think much of the spectacular miss. I mean, after all, he did technically miss.
